The Treasure of Tundavala Gap is a moving, rollicking, breathtaking, page-turning adventure. Jeffrey K. Schmoll whisks the reader from Cuba to Angola to Namibia to California, following tech nerds, rebels, expert gamers, gangsters and generals, all in pursuit of precious Angolan diamonds. Schmoll’s three main characters immediately grab the reader’s interest and sympathy. He expertly brings to life the novel’s multiple settings, especially Angola, which Schmoll portrays with particular and compelling care. After five pages, I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. Hopefully, Schmoll will give us the sequel he hints at. I’ll be waiting.
